Today I wasn't sure what to expect. My training has been OK but I wasn't feeling very fast. Since last year, that I ran one of the best races of my life. A lot of things have happened. I had to deal with an injury. Started a new Job OK 3 new jobs. Two of the jobs were short term jobs. I have moved from Brigham City to Clinton Utah. I was hoping to use this race ase a yard stick race. I didn't messure up very well.
I started out by getting up at 3:00 am and driving to Logan. I didn't feel that great driving or riding the bus up. I use the port a potties then relax a little. I warm up by running a mile. The mile felt hard. I find the hiden port a potties and then go to the starting line.
Running down the canyon the pace felt hard, I might of started a little to fast. I was not able t run fast during the part with the tail wind. On Hollow road my legs when to jello I am almost ashamed how slow the last 4 miles were. When I finished I couldn't hardly breath. I had the wirst cough. It hurt my chest when I coughed. I couldn't stop, I sounded like a smoker.
After I recovered I went back out and ran my wife and three sister in laws in. I ran the last mile to half mile 4 times.

Today I ran what at work is called the mile challange. Its a small group of people at work that get together the last thursday of each month. We all perdict a time. If one person perdicts a 7:00 mile and someone else a 8:00. The person declaring the 8:00 starts a minute before the person that perdicts a 7:00. The first person to cross the finishline wins. I perdicted a 5:40 which I though was a huge stretch goal after running the top of utah half on saturday then running over 30 miles this week already. Today, when I got to the track I found out three people had perdicked a 5:40. We where the last three runners to start. The first lap I was behind the other two runners, but the pace was way to fast. At the end of the second lap I over take the other two and then run trying to catch the other runners a head of us. My pace dropped off a little but I felt stronger then I figured I would. I ended up coming in 2 seconds ahead of my perdiction and three seconds behind the winner.
