I was planning on running with Kam and AnglieB, when I woke up and 4:00am to a loud thunder right outside my house. I continue to hear and see lightning and thunder. I end up chichening out and call Kam and tell him that I am not coming. At about 6:00 I was a wake It was still raining but no thunder and lightning. I decide to go running anyway and call Kam and Tell him I was coming. I drive over to huntsville. I am so glad I went. The conditions couldn't of been better. We started out and I was pushing the pace a little. I wanted to take advantage of the down hill to get some marathon pace miles in. When the course leveled out I was having trouble keeping the pace up and Kam and AnglieB gapped me. The last few miles was around Huntsville park and back to the car. I think this is one of the fastest 22 miles runs I have ever run. Thanks to Kam and AnglieB for allowing me to come along.

I started running and I felt pretty sore from saturday's run. The last 5 miles I ran sub 8 minute miles and they were flat if not up hill. |

My first two legs of the Red Rock Relay. I ran the 10th and 11th leg. These legs start out with a pretty steep hill then drops about 3000 feet in elevation. In the last two miles it was still going down hill but I started dealing a strong head wind. I got 14 kills

When I first started my legs were pretty stiff. The legs losened up. The last 7 miles was the first 7 miles of the marathon. It was diffent running on the course in the dark. I got 15 kills

The first two miles were up the hill coming out of huricane. My legs were pretty tired but doing ok. At the end leg 34 I had my team get me a GU. My legs were starting to feel like jello. The last three miles I hit the wall. I got 17 kill on this section and was passed once.

This was a progressive treadmill workout. I started at running 8.5 mph after 20 minutes increased it to 8.8 mph then after 20 minutes increased it to 9.1 then after 10 minutes increased it to 9.4 then increased it to 9.7 after 5 minates for the last 5 minutes I ran at 10.5 mile per hour. |

about 7.5 miles in about 55 minutes. I started on one treadmill and was about 10 minutes into my workout when it comes unplugged. When the treadmill stopped without any notice, I slammed into the front controls. I continue my workout on another treadmill. I can't wait until the air clears. |

21.5 mile bike ride in 60 minutes. The effort was pretty good. I thought I would have a non impack workout today. Going hunting after work so not sure what kind of running I will do the next five days. Good luck everybody running the Huntsville marathon on Saturday. | Add Comment |
