Personal:

I am a 37 year old Male.  I have been married now for over 15 years.  I have three kids, all boys.  My boys ages are 14, 11 and 7.  I have always enjoyed running and my wife is slowly being converted.   While I was going through college I didn't do much running so I am having to teach my leg how to run fast again.

I am starting to think the exercise gods don't like me.  I went out for a hour and a half bike ride.  About ten minutes into my bike ride, I come to a family trying to herd three pigs down the road.  I don't want scair the pigs and cause to much problems so I wait until there is good openning to go by.  I continue my bike ride.  After about forty five minutes of hard bike riding I turn back.  By now it is getting dark.  As I am riding back it starts to get harder and harder to ride the bike.  When I get about 3/4 of a mile back to my house I am in one of the lowest gears of the bike.  I go to stand up, too push hard, and I feel the front rim hit the road.  My tire is flat.  I get off my bike and start to push my bike home.  I can't believe how hard it is just to push my bike.  I go to spin my back tire and I have a brake that is rubbing.

The hole trip took two hours, I don't think I went very far but I am tired.  I might of gone 15 to 20 miles.

Went three and a half miles, but I am favoring my left leg. I will need to do some exercise to streigthen that leg.

I did exercises to strengthen the hip musles.  Jogging in the middle and a 2 mile walk cool down.  I am hoping that I can build up the streight in my hips.

ran 6 miles in 50 min 33 sec.  I was trying to run without a limp.  My gate felt OK, after finishing running my legs are sore.  I am hoping the legs will recover fine that will be the test.

Biked at least 15 miles, I fixed my bike so the brake was not rubbing and the tire didn't go flat.  I didn't have to wait for any pigs either.  (Biked for an hour)  Legs are sor I will have to be on the bike for the next two weeks.

Six miles in about 52 minutes.  I am not sure how long it took me to run the 6 miles.  At about 1.7 miles I had to wait for a train to pass, so I stopped my watch.  I forgot to start the watch when I started to run again.  I started my watch at 2.5 mile.  It took me thirty minutes to run the 3.5 miles.

I ran 6 miles in 50:45 which is inprovement from the last few days but I have along way to go.  I ran the first two and a half files in 20 minutes, 3 miles in 23:55, and 3.5 miles in 27:50.  I was running 8 minute mile then something happened in the last two and a half miles.  It didn't feel like I slowed down but I guess I did.  I have lost some of my endurance

I ran tenty miles for the first time in my live today.

I ran with a group of people from work.  The Course, we started at mile three of the top of utah marathon.  We ran up to the start.  The first three miles took about 24:30 were we ran second mile faster than the first and the third faster than the second.

At the start we got a drink then turn around.

I was running with two other runners at the six mile mark our time was 45 minutes.

After getting a drink and taking some gue we continued.

The other two runners pulled away either between mile 6 an 9 or 9 and 12.

I end up running the last 8 miles by myself. At mile 15 which was the farthest I have run so far my time was about 1:53.  Which was 4 minutes faster than I have ever before.

I ended up running the 20 miles in 2:35 I averaged a 7:45 mile.

The last five miles I averaged a 8:24.  I wish I didn't slow down that much, but I was able complete the run without any set backs.
