Personal:

I am a 37 year old Male.  I have been married now for over 15 years.  I have three kids, all boys.  My boys ages are 14, 11 and 7.  I have always enjoyed running and my wife is slowly being converted.   While I was going through college I didn't do much running so I am having to teach my leg how to run fast again.

Ran the Perry UT 4th of July run.  This was a small but fun race, mostly flat course.

The last two years I have been running 5K's in the low 20 minutes, so it was good to finally break the 20 minute for the 5K.

Speed work I did six 800 all between 2:52 and 2:58 with a slow 400 inbetween.  The last 800 was my fastest.  Tried to run the same pace the hollow 800.

Ran 7 miles in 50:41, about a 7:15 mile.  I didn't plan to run that fast, but I felt good so I went.

I ran ten miles in 1:23:34,  In the ten mile there was a 4 mile section that climbed 1000 feet.  I ran during the heat of the day and I pushed to hard yesturday.  My legs where sor the hollow time.  Yesturday should of been a slow recovery day from the speed work out, then today I planned a hard hill day.  Didn't push as hard as I wanted.  I don't think it would of been smart I don't want to hurt myself.  My question is should I cut this workout short.

Ran 7 miles pretty hard.  7:30 pace.  It was hot and the pace was hard to hold.  I think the allergy attack took alot out of me.  I hope I feel better tomorrow
