Personal:

I am a 37 year old Male.  I have been married now for over 15 years.  I have three kids, all boys.  My boys ages are 14, 11 and 7.  I have always enjoyed running and my wife is slowly being converted.   While I was going through college I didn't do much running so I am having to teach my leg how to run fast again.

Ran the big loop around Brigham City 12.78 miles in 1:44:26 a 8:10 average.  This turned out to be a wind workout.  While I am traveling north I am running into a very hard head wind.  The flags on the side of the road are pointing straight out.  When I get up on highland going south I look at a flag and it is hanging.  No wind.  I did get one marathon pace mile.

12.12 mile in 1:48:00 a 8:52 average.  Ran the extended river course.  It was cold and it snowed during the run.  My legs are really tired.  I hope my legs come back soon.  A possible cause for the tired legs is giving blood Tuesday.  After I do something that weakens the body I can run the first day OK but the day after is a hard workout.

18.2 miles in 2:34:54 a 8:30 mile ran a two lap course around brigham city.  First lap was in about 1:14:?? the second lap in 1:20:??.  My legs felt heavy and sluggish the hollow run.   An 8 minute mile felt hard the hollow time.  Just not my day.

In morning Didn't get into St. George Marathon.   Will run after work.

This is not my day.  Ran 5.5 miles in 44:15 a 8:05.  I started out planning a 12 mile run.  Big loop around Brigham City.  I start running and the lower part of my calf is pretty tight.  I try to stretch it, It feels OK for a little bit.  Then is starts hurting so I stretch it again and start running.  At this point I decide to cut the run short and start heading home.  I am about 5 miles into the run and about 3 from home.  When I get about a half a mile and my calf just hurts.  I walk limping home.  I am so frustrated.

Biked an hour and a half.  Legs were pretty tired by the time I got home.  How far I went that is not important.  I use a 10 year old mountain bike that is not very good.

Spent thrusday, Friday and Saturday on Jeep trails in my truck in Canyonlands and Beef basin, then Natrual Bridges.  Have an new dent in it to prove it.  Did a bet of hiking.  On friday I carried out a 6 year old.  A 50 pound kid on you sholders for a mile of stairs is hard.
